What we learned from the Puff Diddy situation

In case you have been living under a rock, Puff Diddy the business mogul and music icon has been arrested and denied bail by the Fed in the US for crimes including racketeering, sex trafficking, slave trade etc.

P Diddy is accused of the murder of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G and physically abusing his ex wife and girlfriend, the Homeland Security raided his home and they found 1000 baby oils and lubes for his freak-offs?

1000!? Looks like Saudi Arabia has competition, because he has more oil than them. But here’s what I want us to learn from this situation, Diddy was deceived by the lies that come with the power of money, remember the “money is man’s identity…” article, when a man has so much money and power he feels this invincible aura around him, like he can have anything he wants, he can get any woman he want, he can do whatever he wants.

And Diddy being a billionaire was feeling this way, he got the money and the power he lusted after ever since he was a teenager, because money told him if he gets it he will have all the power to do whatever he wants and get away with it. He thought he could get away with anything he wants and called himself “the most free nigga on the earth.”

I guess that freedom has been short lived, it was fun while it lasted, even when he offered $50 million for bail, he was denied, reminds me of a verse in Proverbs that says, “ Riches and wealth will not rescue in the day of judgment but through knowledge will the righteous be delivered.” Prov 11:4

Be careful of the whispers of money that makes you think you can get away with anything, you can do whatever you want and you don’t need anybody but money, money illusion is crazy, before you have huge amounts of money, make sure your desires are to help your family, and help improve other people’s lives. On top of that don’t sacrifice millions of people to feed your family.
