The economic enslavement of the black race

An excerpt from the book 📕 “Capitalist Nigger”

Good morning đŸ˜ƒđŸŒžâ˜€ïž

Let me share with you today something I long wanted to share from the book “Capitalist Nigger”

What I like here that the author points out is that

  1. Africans are more consumers than they are producers we like things that are foreign, waiting to be done something despite our rich mineral wealth

  2. Africans are all economically struggling, whether we are in Africa, the Diaspora (those overseas) or the Caribbean Islands

And that’s true, it’s surprising to me that a book written in the late nineties 90’s is still true after 25 years. As Africans we are more consumers than we are producers, do you know how much this country consumes. Botswana is a small country that has insane buying power, even during the 2010 World Cup we were one of the biggest consumers even though the event was held in South Africa.

If we as Africans especially us Batswana do not focus on producing we will be at the mercy of everyone economically. Just yesterday the Trump administration froze accounts of USAID to all countries including their own. This means people who depended on it for HIV treatment will no longer receive free ARVs.

In Botswana we have a weak production output and we have huge imports of consumer goods. Many people were happy when the government reversed the import ban of South African vegetables đŸ„— because our farmers were expensive. Well yes they were expensive because we have weak production outputs and can’t be high quality due to lack of skills.

Now look South Africa is facing its own problems because if you own poultry you know of the recent shortage of corn to make the feeds there and outbreak of disease of their livestock. We will not be able to be economically productive if we all want to be consumers.

  1. Africans are all struggling regardless if their in Africa, diaspora, Caribbean etc this seems more like a curse. Yes I heard some people say they don’t believe that Noah curse he gave our first ancestor Ham that his children would be slaves to his brothers but I do, our biggest problem as Africans is that we cannot unite economically.

Look at how many other races do it; Indians, Arabs, Asians, Caucasian they unite they go to a country work at a low end job, save the money, open a store, or different stores buy from each other grow and invest into bigger businesses send their kids to the best schools who would later manage their businesses once it has grown massively and taken over the whole country.

Hear what I’m saying, Africans biggest problem is not being united economically, unity is the only way to build wealth, you can be rich as an individual but to build wealth we need unity. Wealth that will take over industries and economies is built through unity, that’s what other races have that we don’t. Look at the top shareholders of companies like Mascom and Orange you’ll find it’s the same people under one group which is built through unity.
