How to make offers to people so good they feel stupid saying "no!"
The value equation from Alex Hormozi's 100 million offer book
Good morning! Let’s get into it!
I bought a book by the famous entrepreneur Alex Hormozi, called “100 million offers,” back in 2022 when it first became available on the Kindle app for $0.99. Now it’s around $10. I hadn’t read it until this month to understand it. As I want to find the best way to understand how I can offer my future clients the most money while I make more going forward. And I got reintroduced to the value equation he has. And I thought maybe I could share it as an article with you. So, let’s get into it!

What separates the highest-paid creators, consultants, and entrepreneurs from everyone else isn’t luck or talent — it’s their understanding of value.
Once you truly understand what creates value, everything about your business changes. You stop competing on price. You stop chasing clients. Instead, you start building offers that people want to pay for — because they clearly see the outcome you promise.
There’s actually a formula for this — a repeatable one — called The Value Equation. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it. It becomes a new lens through which you evaluate every offer, product, or service.
The Value Equation
{Value} = {Dream Outcome} \times \{Perceived Likelihood of Achievement}}\{Time Delay} \times {Effort & Sacrifice}}
Let’s break it down:
Dream Outcome: How big and exciting is the result you’re promising? The more your audience desires it, the higher the value.
Perceived Likelihood of Achievement: How much do they believe you can actually help them achieve it? Testimonials, results, and credibility all increase this.
Time Delay: How long will it take them to get the result? The faster the outcome, the higher the value.
Effort & Sacrifice: How much work or pain must they endure? The easier the process feels, the higher the perceived value.
So, if you want to create irresistible offers, your goal is simple:
Increase the dream outcome and the perceived likelihood of success,
While reducing time delay and effort or sacrifice.
When you master this equation, you don’t just sell products — you sell transformation.
Why It Matters
Understanding this formula doesn’t just make you better at business — it changes how you see the world. You start recognizing value everywhere: in products, services, and even in people’s decisions.
And that’s when you truly step into the world of unlimited profit, impact, and possibilities.
