Course correction, there's no such thing as a straight line in physics
Why it takes longer to achieve your dreams.
Good morning, let’s get into it!
This is more of a motivation; it’s best to mix inspiration with practical ways of doing things
One of the things I learned in pursuing my dream is that the dream does not go from point A to B in a straight line. There is a lot of course correction, which means you’ll have to constantly adjust your strategies, behaviors, and plans to achieve your desired goals.
There is no straight line; it is not smooth sailing, there are detours. When Americans wanted to land on the moon, with the famous Neil Armstrong in the Apollo, it’s reported that they had to constantly course correct because the exact spot they wanted to land was constantly shifting and drifting in outer space.
This is true in life as well. I found this out myself when I thought something would work out, but it didn’t happen that way. But I needed to keep pushing and making constant changes to help reach that goal.
UB Radio idea
The making of UB Radio is one of the examples of this. UB Radio was long conceived in 2018. I remember my lecturer was so enthusiastic about it and said they already planned to launch it by late 2018 or early 2019.
But that radio was launched in 2021, 3 years after the intended date, because of BOCCRA licensing. During that time, it felt like it would never happen because of the delay. But it ended up happening because they made a lot of course corrections, paperwork, licensing, and every other detail.
So don’t be discouraged if it’s taking you long to save for that tool you need, or a business to start, to be financially free, or anything else; it takes time and a lot of rerouting.
